Hot Rolled Cold Rolled Steel Plate 0.3-200mm Thickness, 600-3000mm Width, Q235 Q345 SS400 S235 S355 ASTM A36, for Construction, Shipbuilding & Machinery

Our steel plates are manufactured by hot rolling or cold rolling processes, offering excellent mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality. Available in various grades, thicknesses, and widths to meet diverse industrial requirements. Widely used in construction, shipbuilding, bridge fabrication, pressure vessels, machinery manufacturing, and structural steel fabrication. We can also provide surface treatment options including hot dipped galvanizing, painting, oiling, and pickling.

    Production Process

The production process begins with the careful selection of raw materials, either steel billet or slab. These materials are then heated in a pushing furnace or walking beam furnace, followed by rough rolling and finish rolling to achieve the target dimensions. After laminar cooling for controlled cooling, the plates are straightened to improve flatness, then cut to size by shearing or flame cutting. Surface inspection, both visual and automated, ensures quality, while ultrasonic testing for internal defects is available upon request. Optional surface treatments such as galvanizing, painting, oiling, or pickling may be applied. Finally, the plates are labeled, packed, and ready for warehousing or shipping.

    FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between hot rolled and cold rolled steel plate?

A1: Hot rolled steel plate is processed at high temperature, has a rough surface, and is suitable for structural applications. Cold rolled steel plate is processed at room temperature, has a smoother surface, tighter tolerances, and is used for precision applications like automotive panels and appliances.

Q2: What is the difference between steel plate and steel sheet?

A2: Generally, steel plate refers to thickness ≥ 3mm, while steel sheet refers to thickness < 3mm. However, the definition may vary by region and standard.

Q3: What materials do you offer?

    A3: We offer Chinese standard (Q195, Q235, Q345), Japanese standard (SS400, SM490, SPHC), American standard (ASTM A36, A572, A516), and European standard (S235, S275, S355).

Q4: Can you cut plates to custom sizes?

A4: Yes. We offer shearing and flame cutting services to produce custom lengths and widths.
